Size??????

I know that each individual dog is different, but.......


Blaze turned 6 mos. last week and she measures about 23 inches and weighs around 63 lbs. Does this seem right?

She's almost as big as Leader, a 7 yr. old male, but squarer than he is (I mean not as long as he is).

She started her first heat the day after she turned 6 mos. old:( Oh well, each one really is different.

I'd appreciate any info or just what you think about her size. I had to translate the 59cm and 29 kilograms into inches and pounds.

Sam's a mutant...he's 29" to the whithers. But, I'm not arguing...I don't have to bend over to pet him

Bella is 7.5 mnths, 21" and 65 lbs and has yet to go into heat. She comes from a line that has a history of developing slowly...every dog really is different!

One word...genetics. You will find your pup will slow down in time. Every one kept telling me that Eiko was going to be HUGE. He was the same way as your pup. At 8 1/2 weeks he was 18 lbs. At 7 months, he was almost 80 lbs. Then at around 12 months Eiko's weight started to settle in. Now at 16 months of age he is a wonderful looking boy at 95 lbs. Not that huge monster every one was expecting Feed the appropriate amount of food (good food), exercise your pup accordingly and keep her in good health and genetics will always rule the roost.

My dog was the same size when he was 8 month old and he is a male!

Blaze weighed 66 lbs/30 kilos. yesterday at the vet's and she turned 6 months old on Jan 12th ...take a look here and you'll see her (last 3 photos) taken on Dec. 23rd!
