| Dog weight Hi all, I have just weighted Johnny now he is 38 Kgs (84 Lbs), He is 25.5 inchs tall and 11 month old. Is this good for his age? He seems to be at right weight for his body. Does anybody can tell how much will he on avereage when he is full grown?? Anyway what is the average weight and the deveopment stages for the rottweiler, I know that they gain height and after one year of age they bigin to build weight and width, is this right??

| Hi rasmy - Take a look at this chart. It may help you as a guideline to desired weights for the Rottweiler. http://www.rottweiler.net/forums/sho...tweiler+by+age Every dog has a different metabolism, activity level, etc., so that plays into what they'll weigh. Your boy is lean, and that's great. He'll have alot less joint stress by not lugging extra wt around. My girl filled out in her 2nd year, and even more as she approaches her 3rd birthday. She has highly defined musculature, and is lean, but we're very active. kathy |

| That's exactly the same size Cooper was at that age,. Dogs are going to grow & mature at different rates...FWIW, Cooper will be two years old tomorrow, is 26" and 105lbs (quite lean.)
