| Natural Balance Dog Food I've come across this dog food called Natural Balance in rolls (kinda looks like a big sausage). It comes in Beef, Turkey and Lamb. http://www.epetpals.com/Natural_Balance_dog_food.htm I don't feed it as Parkers main diet as it would put me in the poor house! :p He'd almost eat one roll a day right now (which is $7.49 up here in Canada, on sale) if I were to follow the feeding instructions. But what I am doing is cutting it up into little tiny squares for training rewards. Parker goes NUTTY for this stuff. :D Super focused, high energy - just loves it. My trainer turned me on to it. I thought you guys might find it handy for training / treat purposes. :) P.S. Just remember that once you cut into it, it has to be refridgerated!

| Trish, I've used the Natural Balance rolls for training treats for years. The dogs love it, and I like how I can slice it into really small pieces. Also, it's nice to know that you aren't feeding them junk. I usually buy a couple giant rolls at a time and slice it into 2-3 inch sections and freeze it. Then when I need a some more treats, I just thaw out a small section. You are right though, it needs to be refrigerated. Once I left some in a baggy in my pocket overnight, and by the next afternoon it had developed the blue fuzzies. Ick!
