| switching puppies food We are bringing home a new puppy this week. They have been eating Pedigree which I don't feed. I feed Canidae. Should I mix the two for a little while or just cut them over to Canidae? They are 8 weeks old today. Rachel

| I'd mix, the puppy's already got the stress of changing homes to deal with, he doesn't need an upset tummy on top of that. I'd do 1/4 Canidae with 3/4 Pedigree for a few days, then half and half for a few days, then 1/4 Pedigree and 3/4 Canidae for a few days, then all Canidae. Enjoy your new puppy! |
