This may seem like a silly question, but do you give your rottys anything but water to drink? It seems so unfair that as humans we have an enormouse amount of different things to drink, but they only get water....

Most of the things humans drink aren't very good for them. Water is best thing to drink. Think about it, your body is 90 % water.
I give my dogs some milk once in awhile. Once in a blue moon they will get a taste of a soda without caffiene. However it's spelled, just got up) .:p

I was told Gatorade was ok for dogs that it stabolizes their metabolizm from the enzymes in it. I didn't get to indepth about it with the person who told me. He also said he gives his rotties the orange stuff. So whether or not it is true I don't know.

Gatorade has a LOT of sugar which is not good for dogs. (Or you either for that matter.

If you want to give your dog something with electrolytes in it, I recommend the PLAIN pedialyte.

I have given my dogs pedialyte before. But, that was due to a medical emergency.

All my animals just drink plain water.

Natures own.

True! My dogs only get water. Apart from coffee in vast quantities, I don't really drink anything else but water either. ;)

Maybe that is what the guy meant. I never did try giving my dog gatorade, the only thing they have had is water, that is it.
