| I don't know about Eagle Pack, but I do know Innova. Innova is a very very good food. You have to get it at a good pet supply, you can't get it from Petsmart or Petco or the grocery store. Innova is made with all human grade foods, and no artifical flavors or colors. It has no harmful preservatives. It is good stuff. No I don't work for the company, but I do seem to advertise for them on this board..LOL.. Maybe they should pay me.

| I have fed both. Innova is a very good, high quality food with great ingredients and is rightfully recommended by many on this forum along with Canidae, Wellness, etc... However, I found it to be too rich (too many calories) and while my dog had no digestion problems, she put on too much weight. I would have had to feed very small amounts of the food to manage her weight so I discontinued use. I fed Eagle Pack years ago and have returned to feeding Eagle. I formerly fed the Kennel Pack (now called Original Adult). At the time this food contained three meats with chicken meal as the base. This food now uses pork as the primary ingredient along with two other meat sources. I can't speak to the results since the formula changed but the Kennel Pack that I fed was a good food. Unfortunately, the local dealer went out of business and I discontinued use. I currently feed the Natural Pack from Eagle. It is a 23/12 food with three meat sources. I am pleased with this food as my current 3 dogs maintain appropriate weight easily and have great coats and energy levels. As with the majority of Eagle's Pack products, this food does contain some corn. As a result, many on this forum would never use it and would recommend against using this product. I personally don't have a problem unless the food is primarily corn based. It also has beet pulp, though the sugar is removed. You'll have to make your own decision. Eagle makes an Holistic formula which doesn't contain corn and is similar to Innova, Canidae, etc.. If you are looking for an Eagle product that is similar to Innova, then the Holistic would be the one as it also contains apples and carrots and those type of ingredients. Both of the companies have dealer locaters on their web sites. You can also order the foods online at various vendors and have it shipped. http://www.eaglepack.com/ http://www.naturapet.com/ |

| I feed Eagle pack to my GSD X. She does very well on it. As mentioned, it is a fairly well put together food.
