Question for the Innova feeders

Our 14 wk old pup is currently on Canidae (from the breeder) and I want to transition him as I think he's becoming less interested in it. I've had quite a few friends swear by the Innova, but when I tried it with our GSD she had the loosest stool she's ever seen and I took her off it asap. It just ran through her.

My questions then as it relates to our Rottie pup is:

1. Have any of you Innova feeders encountered this loose stool with your dogs? If so, how did you overcome it? I've read and heard you can add some pumpkin filling/yogurt to the Innova...not sure.

2. Were you feeding your pup the regular Adult Innova or the Puppy form?

Thanks for any/all feedback!

Rocco

Innova worked for some but not all of my dogs

What I found works better and is still made by the same company is Healthwise. Very similar calories as Innova but with much less variety of ingredients

Mya eats Innova and has never had any problems with loose stools. However, she was about a year old when I "wised up" and switched her, so she has always been on the adult formula. As frontierrots pointed out, I am sure all dogs are different, so this is just my experience with Innova, but Mya loves it and has done very well on it.
