| tip/source for BARF'ers I would highly suggest the Asian grovery stores for meat & produce. Prices there are crazy cheap. Korean stores seem to have better deals on vegetables while the Chinese Markets tend to have better deals on meats/fish. Popular ones here are 99 Ranch Market (chinese) and the stores in Korea town (sores on Garden Grove Blvd in Garden Grove). Here is what we bought today (not in the quantities listed of course): ground beef .98 lb (have this all the time) 10lbs of Nappa Cabbage for $1.00 Brocolli Crowns .38 lb. 20 lbs of korean raddish (looks like a big turnip) $1.00 fresh makerel .99 lb chicken thighs & drums .38 lb 3lbs of Kale $1.00 canned makerel .67 a can also cheap prices on gizzards an livers from all sorts of animals. There are also all kinds of green leafy Asian vegetables that I do not know what they are, but the dogs love them and we try new ones all of the time These sepcials are all of the time and there are so many more. Not to mention all the cool foods for Mommie and Daddy! |
