grass eating

I should have added this to my previous post...My 13 m/o dog is blowing his coat...I also noticed that he now eats grass and barks at strangers now, too...Any thoughts...

I think some dog's just enjoy grazing on certain grasses. I wouldn't encourage it, especially now in the spring when so many people are putting fertilizers down. If it gets to be a compulsion I'd consult with your vet. It could be something related to digestion. As for the barking? Sounds like a Rottweiler to me :-)
