kibble and raw?

I feed my dog kibble. Is it ok to supplement his diet with fruit, veggies, and rmb? If so what kinds, how much, and how often?

Thank you

Hello. I feed kibble and raw. I just copied my post from another thread for you:

"I put about 1-2 tablespoons of plain canned pumpkin (not fancy or spiced pumpkin pie filling) in my dogs food 3 times a week. I also put in 1-2 tablespoons of plain active culture yogurt 3 times a week, and twice a week I put in 1 tablespoon local organic honey. Once a week they get 1 raw egg (with shell) in their food.
Three times a week I put in 1 cup of vegie pulp. I either use fresh or frozen vegies (all kinds), blend it up to mush, then freeze it in muffin tins, then put the 1/2 cup frozen vegie muffins in a plastic bag and keep them in the freezer.
At least once or twice a week I add fruit, they love bananas and apples! Has anyone ever used frozen fruit (like the vegie glop) or would freezing fruit destroy too many of the goodies in them?
Last, but not least, they get raw meaty bones twice a week. I can't bring myself to feed raw chicken, so I get knuckle bones with lots of meat and cartilage on them (beef and lamb). "

I think there are a few more people who feed a mixture of raw and kibble, and I am sure they do so differently than I do :)

Thank you!

That is very helpful. I've tried giving my dog bananas but he just plays with it but doesn't eat it. I'm sure if I blend it up with a few other things and add it to his food it will disappear! I have fed him a few raw chicken wings (he has issues with knuckle bones, marrow bones, and any other bone that last more than a minute!!) he loves the chicken. I will try your other suggestions.. Thanks!
