Are these the full names of these dogs? I did a search for all three names on the OFA website to see if I could come up with any other portion of the pedigree and I find NO results on any of them

Please post their registration numbers and maybe we can help you find additional information that way.

Re: pedigree

As you say, Hungarian dogs.

Vom Calibra is quite a reputed show-dog kennel (Ida vom Calibra etc.).
I think the Met number will be the Hungarian Registration Number for the dog.
The other letters below that are show placings and championships.

Re: pedigree

Bullyboy,

The most comprehensive free site for searching Rottweiler pedigrees is PawVillage.com & the Online Pedigree Database (tm). You will find most of the German dogs in there, but will probably struggle with some of the Hungarian ones.

Re: pedigree

Bullyboy,
You're welcome! I'm glad I could help you out some. I haven't been able to find much on the other dogs. I did find some pictures of the "Grand King" dogs, but no pedigree info. Paw Village does have several dogs on their site. If you want more info or don't find other German dogs on that site, the German registry for rottweilers, (ADRK), lists kennels on their site. By going to some of the kennels websites, you can find pictures and other pedigree info.

The Hungarian Rottweiler Club has a web site. You may have some luck searching there. Here are some terms and their meaning. This is my interpretation of the meaning, not a dictionary's. Good luck with your search!
Apa neve - name of the father
Anya neve - name of the mother
szukak - female
kan - male
Törzskönyv megtekintés - registration certificate (typically containing pedigree of dog if whole certificate was scanned by owner)

Re: pedigree

BullyBoy,

The pics I found on the Grand King dogs were obtained through an internet search. I didn't mean to confuse you (ie. mentioning Paw Village.) Forum rules prohibit posting web addresses. It can be difficult to find info on the Hungarian dogs. It may take awhile, but you may find something by digging through the Hungarian kennel club's site. Doing an internet search for "Hungarian rottweilers" may yield some info. By going to various kennels' websites and looking at the pedigrees of their dogs, you might find something. It depends on how much time and energy you want to put into it. I hope you find something.

Re: pedigree

Just use Pawvillage.com For looking into rottweilers from around the world . There you can find , detail pedigree , name of owner , siblings , and offsprings . There is also a rottweiler section on Pedigreedatabase.com where quite a few rottweilers are registered.
