| International magazines?
How do so many of you keep up with what is going on with rotts outside of the US? The only dogs I can find out about are the ones in the TRQ and most of those are AKC dogs. There are the few announcements about a new import just arriving, but nothing about European dog show results. Are there any international magazines? Or do you just have to have the right contacts? Thanks |

| Stu, having the right "contacts" may be part of it, but many of us are also members of the ADRK. Being a member, you receive the ADRK magazine which give updates on what is happening in Germany. Apart from that, many people try to keep up with the shows and working events in Germany to find out who is winning and producing. Some by the annual ADRK stud books and use the Dogbase program to see who is producing out there. And of course if you have friends out there that share with you the latest news and happenings in their own countries, that helps as well.... Hope this helps... ------------------ Von Der Ehrenwache Kennels www.geocities.com/Heartland/Park/5378/ ***Working dogs are "bred" and rarely "made"*** ICQ Chatroom - &Rottweilers (#14767753) |

| In addition to all Hackel said, I also look alot in the net. Believe me you can find tons of info about rottweilers and shows in Germany! There are many pages which have very usefull info and update really often. 2 of my favourites are Spindlers page and Holthaus 's page. They give very much info! |

| Baren and Hackel, thanks for the advice on where to find the info. Robin, there is nothing specific I am looking for at this time. But the more I study and learn about rotts, the more I am interested in the working aspect of this great dog. And that seems to neccesitate the need to know more about German or European lines. |
