Re: Rotties from Hungary

A bitch who is in standard for height and is 116lbs is either extremely doggy (VERY serious fault) or grossly over-weight. I've had bitches critiqued as "large to very large" by ADRK Koermeisters, and they were not over 90lbs. My 2yr old male is currently 113lbs at 27" and solid as a tank. Sounds like someone sold you quite a line.....

Sadly you can buy any kind of health certifications in eastern europe no matter how parents or puppies realy are. You can never be sure of what your buying. BUT...there are some nice dogs that can be found...but it's hard to be sure of what is true and not.

Re: Rotties from Hungary

On the imports people have purchased from Hungary, tails are not docked, am I correct, unless the owners of the sire & bitch did it themselves. It's illegal in Europe to dock or crop. My dogs parents are both imports from Hungary. He is really blocky, heavy but not overweigh, just a good bone structure. Great personality, just a comedian, thinks hes a lap dog, loves kids and is very kind. He is needy, but that is his special way. The only thing I find different from my other 3 Rotties I have had in the past is that he seems to have more drive, and has to be exercised more, but just more fun for us. He drives my Bernese nuts, its like shes 130 lbs. and hes 95lbs or 100 and he just likes to pick on her, like wow look at the tail lets pull it. Lol! As with anything the internet has much info but beware of what and who is selling you what.
