Rotti in Thailand

Hello to all the Rotti lovers here.
My name is Gerd, but much moe important is our dog's name: "Max".
I am living and working in Phuket/Thailand. Our dog was imported from Yugoslavia, he is now 1 year old. He is a grand-grand son from Gil Lotos, may be some people know about him.
I am reading already some weeks here and it helps me a lot for understanding these dogs. It's seems very difficult here on my Island to find a good teacher, would be easier to find some one in Bangkok. But my wife does very well so far. She does most of the walks and exercises with him when I am at work. I don't know if I am allowed to add a link or put some pics in my post here, may be a mod. can answer this question to me.

So far we are very happy with Max and I guess he is happy with us aswell. We spend a lot of time with him at the beach, what he realy likes. He's absolutely friendly with people and kids.
Thanks again for all the knowledge I've received from these sites here.

"Max", Gerd&Sunee

Welcome to the forums! if you stick around and post some threads and participate soon you will became a member and you will be able to access all the forums include the one to post pictures. I kind of have the same situation of not finding a trainer or puppy classes, I can't even found the food I would like for Roxy. The people that lives in the States is very lucky to find everything they need for their dogs! But I will not change my little island....Looking forward see beatiful pictures of Thailand! and Max in the beach!

Re: Rotti in Thailand

:) Thank you all welcoming me.
Fortunely I don't have any problems about food for Max, I'm working as a chef, so you can imagine he's a little spoilt gourmet :p

I hope I will post a lot here and share some of my experiences with you.

But most of you know a lot more than me about rottis and most of you are native english speakers, I'm not.
But I will do my best!

Re: Rotti in Thailand

Thanks for your welcome !
I've just changed my profile with a link to some pics of Max.
Some subtitles are wrong, sorry. But with the internet speed here in Thailand it would take ages to change them again.

Welcome to the Forum, Thaigerd! I'm also based in Thailand at the moment, but I'm in Bangkok. I'll be judging a Rottweiler Specialty show in Chumpon on March 27 and there'll be an all-breed show the next day. You might want to visit and see some good dogs there. Contact the Kennel Club of Thailand (KCT) for details.

By the way, I like Gil Crni Lotos.

Sorry, I don't know too many dog people in Phuket.

By the way, if you're going to put your little boy in the show, please approach me AFTER the show, and not before. I hope you understand why.

Re: Rotti in Thailand

I think I'm not allowed to take him to this show, he has no BH. He is now 1 year but already a biiiiiiiig head and great body, his personality seems to be very good.

That's why I am looking urgently for a trainer here.
Just spend 8 hours on my bike today to find a suitable house for a friend of mine. She is moving from Bangkok to Phuket and with her 2 Rottis.
At the end of the afternoon I've found a "Rotti dreamhouse".
Quiet area, nice house with a huge garden(trees, palms etc.) and a wall around.
Fully furnished just 7000.-Baht(180US) per month:D .

Can I post here my mobile number???or you???
I would like to contact you, when possible..........

Regards,

Gerd
