Do you know anything about these dogs?

I hope I post this in the right section, and that it's ok to ask for any info you might know regarding them...

I'm looking at a couple of rotties and was wondering if any of you knew anything about them.

"Umbro van het Polderbos"

"Ursa vom Wachberg"

If you know anything about them, both positive or negative, please let me know.

I know Ursa is a Hakim v Brunnenweible daughter, but I know nothing about this dog, either.

Thanks :)

Your questions are very broad, what specifically are you looking for on these dogs?

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the temperaments, or about their health or anything at all, I'd like to know. I saw them on a web site, and think both the dog and bitch are very nice looking. I'm looking for a puppy, and as we all know, posting breeders names isn't allowed.

I have 2 little kids so temperament and drive are very important. I know some rotts have more drive than others and I don't need a high drive for a good companion/family pet. I would someday like to get involved with therapy.

If you have any information you would like to share, feel free to PM or post it here!

Thanks,
Lisa

Umbro van het Polderbos

I've seen this dog at show!! Wonderful, but FULL OF DRIVE!!!! I know the kennel and they produce wonderful working dogs, but if you're looking for a pet, maybe this breeding isn't the way to go. Umbro IS an amazing looking dog though.

:)

Thanks,

Yeah, I think maybe these dogs would definietly produce top working dog lines. It always helps when someone has seen them personally, so thanks for the post!

The mother of Ursa is "HELLA VOM NIXSTEIN"

I have just begun researching about these two dogs, and haven't heard anything back from this particular breeder, yet. I am just looking though. I had a little problem with another breeding, which wasn't at all the fault of the breeder, just that the bitch I was to get a puppy from turned out not to be prego! :(

I may still end up getting a pup from her though, I really, really like the breeder. :D

Thanks a bunch! If you know anything else, keep me posted! ;)

Umbro died suddenly last month. I do not know if he had been collected or not.

That's what I just found out. I'm so saddened by this. I know he has some litters due in August. I've tried to contact his owner, but have had no success. I don't know what to do.

Does anyone know what his cause of death was? This is too tragic. He was absolutely gorgeous!

Thanks!

Thanks for the information!

I'm looking at adopting one of Umbro's pups. I might be driving up to where all their dogs are so that I can meet them first before making a decision. I think that's important. Umbro was a very busy dog, but I feel as though that is a basic characteristic of the rottweiler. The parents are: Multi V1 "Brenda von Immenstetten/Umbro Van Het Polderbos". Brenda is a Rick von Burgthann daugther.

Does anyone know anything about Brenda? I've read all the stuff on their web site, but if you know anything about her, please let me know.

Umbro's official cause of death was toxin induced malignant hyperthermia. It's a very sad, long and horrible story. Both he and a dog named Cyler died of the same cause about the same time. :(

Again, thanks for the valuable information! It's very helpful!
