Have to agree with other posters- I have 3 children- ages 10,8 and 4 (as well as my 15 mos. old niece living in the house- who ADORES our dog!!!!). Our Nikki is AMAZING with them (and they are great with her as well!). She has never so much as attempted a slight growl at them or anything else that would be cause for concern. We actually got her from a rescue group (that got her from a shelter that found her out on the street!) at about 18 mos. old and she has been absolutely wonderful- even without knowing her background (which we did take proper "getting to know her" precautions as well as enrolled her in obedience immediately). I wouldn't hesitate to get a Rottweiler from a trusted source again.
