Your boys story not only saddens me but it angers me. These people need to be exposed...and the news is wonderful at doing that...I would even consider contacting PETA, they would be all over it as well. This is so unacceptable...

I am very sorry for your family's loss, I could not imagine tragedy striking like this, my heart breaks for you.

I think that exposing the practices by this and other airlines will be a wonderful thing to do in memory of your boy :)

Well I have contacted the news agency in Atlanta and they said that they would call me back if a reporter was interested. I also contacted the PETA and left a message on their aninmal cruelty investigations department and will see what comes back from those two. The WSBTV news station said that if I knew anybody that also had problems with pet care at ATL Int. to let them know. So if anybody has had issues there please let me know. Thanks and I will keep all of you posted.

The only reason I say that is that I want you to get the most replies possible and you may not if it's in The Rainbow Bridge area.

I truly hope you get to the bottom of this, your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

You need to call a lawyer or look into small claims court ASAP. The airline along with any other big business will give you the runaround until the statute of limitations is up. Then you will be SOL. They are betting on this, trust me.

Thanks for relocating the thread. I wasn't sure how to do this. As soon as I get back into Georgia I will look into an attorney. I will keep everybody posted on the status. Who knows, maybe it will be on the national news. It looks like I have a year on this statute of limitations freakygoldfish. I'm not going to wait this long though. As soon as I get back it's on to find a attorney that might be willing to take this case.

Wow. I'm so sorry this has happened to you and your family, Glowworm. Losing a member of the family is bad enough, but the fact that the cause might have been able to be avoided if someone would have simply done their job. I'm sure makes it worse. Wotan was a beautful boy. He will stay in your heart forever.

I would like to also say thanks for your service to our country. My brother just got our of the Army after four years. He was in the JAG department in Wiesbaden and did a year in Iraq. I told him about your story and he said that they very well might be able to council you on what you should do.
