| Floppy ear? I have a 3 month old female, today her left ear is just floppy? It doesnt have the triangle shape anymore! What the heck happened? Has anyone else had this problem? and if so will her ear go back to normal? I'd appreciate any info. |

| Look at your school picture when you were 12 years old. Mine shows me with these HUGE front teeth. These guys go through the same adolelescence# we did. Some things grow fast, and some grow slow. Capture their growth in pictures, and when they mature, you can look back at those pictures with fondness, and laughter, at their awkwardness. One of my favorite pictures of Cain is when he's looking at the camera at about 9 months with those adorable ears going in 90 different directions. I promise you, your friend will mature with great dignity!

| It is not uncommon for ears to go awry when the pup starts serious teething. If the leather and ear set is correct they come back. Have her work them a bit for treats and attention. That will help. |

| Oh!! the morphing times!! I remember too well those days, when one day my Iby will have a normal snout, and the next she seemed to have it small, with the size of her head changing almost everyday!! ![]() I took a picture of her almost every two or three days, It's hillarious (sp?) to se her morph from one face to the next. :D :D I wouldn't worry to much about it, she will experience a tremendous growth in the couple months to come, so just enjoy it :D Puppies grow too fast!!! :( Carolina :)

| I would not trust to luck or nature to have those ears turn out the way they should. There are very specific taping/weighting measures that you can take to ensure the process if the pup's ears are light leather and on the small side. If normal sized a two to three times daily massage (putting your thumbs on the cartilage at the back and deeply stroking forward to place the ears in the correct carriage) may suffice. "Flying" ears in an adult Rottweiler are ugly to my eyes, especially knowing that it could have been prevented if an experienced breeder was guiding the person thru these teething times.... |
