| Re: Confused!!!! Plz Help Me!!!!! Please don't go for it. It is profoundly obvious that you have no clue about Rottweilers, and you are completely ignorant about their true behavior. I would suggest you start off with a hermit crab.

| Re: Confused!!!! Plz Help Me!!!!! This is NOT the breed for you. Don't get a Rottweiler, period. There are so many reasons just from your one posting that I couldn't even begin to tell you all the reasons but the number one is as Urika states, you have no clue as to this breed. Keep reading on here and you will find all the reasons for you NOT to get a Rottie or both you and your dog will end up in trouble.

Re: Confused!!!! Plz Help Me!!!!! PLEASE don't get a rottweiler. Yes, i admit i'm only 19 and i own one, but before i got a rottweiler, i did 2 YEARS of research and i still don't know everything! Deffinantly don't get a GSD either, these are agressive dogs also, go for something more like a.... lab! Your dogs going to live outside? That doesn't seem right. The dog is a member of the family and should be in the house and should not be left alone in the cold or in the hot. I'm not trying to say that rottweilers are agressive, but they can be if taught to be like that. I can already tell that you won't be able to give it the training needed. No offence, but yes i agree, you should start off with a hermit crab. Or something, because aparently you know nothing about this loving breed, agressive? I think not. Only when someone in the family is threatened, your rottweiler should not be agressive. Please don't get this breed! If you truely do want to, start your research NOW. Dezaree

Re: Confused!!!! Plz Help Me!!!!! No Ahmed. A Rottweiler is not the breed for you and neither is a GSD. Perhaps smaller different kind of animal would be the answer but not a dog of any breed. Before you even consider owning any animal learn and research exactly what owning that animal involves and what your responsibities are.

Re: Confused!!!! Plz Help Me!!!!! I am a new owner of a rotti pup. I did alot of research before I decided in getting him. They saw that first owners shouldn't get one as a first pet, but I think it depends on the individual, if you're willing to put in the time and effort that they need. They are really good dogs and very protective of their terriotory. You should do some research and decide if the rottweiler is right for you.

Re: Confused!!!! Plz Help Me!!!!! Listen to your friends. Without having experience training any dog, and not knowing the temperament of the dogs available to you in India, a Rottweiler or a GSD would be the wrong choice for you. Both breeds are strong minded working breeds and not the right choice for a person who has no experience with dogs of any kind. Dogs require care and training. Before you get ANY dog, spend some time learning how to care for them and how to train them humanely. When you do choose a dog to bring home, make sure it's a dog that does not cause you concern about your ability to raise and train it and, just as importantly, make sure you choose a dog that you will accept as the loyal companion a well cared for dog will become.

Re: Confused!!!! Plz Help Me!!!!! I REPEAT DON'T GET A ROTTWEILER. Don't even get a GSD. I don't even think a dog... No dog should have to live outside... ): Sorry, yes i agree get a cat. A GSD and Rottweiler are hard working dogs. They need to be exorcised ALOT. They also need family LOVE and to feel to be part of the FAMILY and not be forced to stay outside. ESPECIALLY not if it's a puppy!! PLEASE rethink this because if you don't you are going to end up with a bad tempered dog and your going to give the breed a worse name for all the ignorant people that train a Rottie to be mean, and since you already think the breed is mean, don't get one. Don't get any dog. No offence, but i don't think you should get a dog... Especially not a hard working dog, a dog is not just about looks... Sorry!! Dezaree

Re: Confused!!!! Plz Help Me!!!!! No offense ... but I think you are a poser. I don't believe there is any one that can be as ignorant as you try to be. Your ability to spell... fake. you cant spell certain words but you can others and then abbreviate certain texting vocab. Fake!!

Re: Confused!!!! Plz Help Me!!!!! Just know that any dog, rot, gsd or whatever will all take a lot of training. Some breeds are a little tougher to deal with as they are strong minded and/or have an abundance of energy. But any dog will take time to train. And any breed can become aggressive if you don't raise it right, even those breeds that are not known to be violent. Just do as much research as you can before you get a dog, and if you still choose to get one, continue to devote a lot of time to him/her. It will get frustrating at times. I'm curious to know by the way, how much does a Rot or GSD cost over there as a puppy? Is the Rotti a common dog over there? Just curious to know.

Re: Confused!!!! Plz Help Me!!!!! If you want a dog I wouldn't start off with a rott or a GSD there are both great dogs but very strong minded and if this is your 1st dog I think you'd be very overwelmed. Start off with a smaller dog and a dog thats not so strong minded. there are so many breeds out there. LOOk around!!!!!!!!!! Take all these people's advice cause we own Rotts and know what were talking about! Good Luck!!!!!!!
