Icon5 Anyone around Tucson???

Does anyone in or around Tucson know of a place I can take my Beau to swim? I have looked online but haven't found anything. He had surgery to repair his right CCL last summer and pulled his left one earlier this year. I don't want him running around as much, but I still need to exercise him and water would be great. I appreciate anyone's response!!! Thanks!

Re: Anyone around Tucson???

I couldn't find any canine hydrotherapy facilities in Tucson. There is one up here in Gilbert that is great. All you really need, in a pinch, is someone who will let you use their pool and a doggie lifejacket so he doesn't need to work quite so hard.

Re: Anyone around Tucson???

I'm new to Tucson, so I better start making friends! I probably shouldn't use the introduction, "Hi, I'm Terri, can my rottweiler use your pool?" Hahahaha. I'm thinking of getting him in a new obedience class, so maybe I will meet somewhere there... Good idea Observer! =)

Re: Anyone around Tucson???

Well, that would be a novel intro!

Obedience class is a great place to make contacts. Even just walking him in your neighborhood will introduce you to other dog owners who may be willing to have a pool party for your dogs!

Re: Anyone around Tucson???

I'd make friends with a neighbor. You can always use my pool if you want to drive to Gilbert. In the summer I go to the salt river and let them swim.

There is a dog park at Ray just east of Greenfield that has a water area for dogs. I think it's called Cosmo Park in Gilbert.

Ya know, maybe you should move to Gilbert!!!
