| Tatoo Registry? Is there any such thing? I choose to have Jaycee tatooed instead of chipped and I was just sitting her wondering if there was any type of registry, like through AKC or any other database?  |

| Re: Tatoo Registry? Found this online Tattooing has routinely been done to identify animals for many years. The most well-known registries. National Dog Registry, has been in operation since the mid-1960's while Tatoo-A-Pet joined them in 1972. The AKC, CAR (Companion Animal Registry) began in the 1990s and registeres ANY animal, not just the AKC registered ones.
