Which means it's much better than your first draft.

One of the ways to write well is to edit and rework your writing. The fact what you submitted is nothing like your original draft is a good sign because very few first drafts are faultless.

I have written quite a few argumentative papers about Breed Specific Legislation and the Rottweiler. What exactly is your Thesis? Your instructor is requiring it to be written in MLA format, and you will need to have a Works Cited page as well. I am sure your instructor has explained what MLA format is, and where to find information on how to write in MLA format (should be in your book). Your paper will have an introduction which should close with your Thesis. Your paper should have well developed paragraphs (your body) which supports your Thesis. It would help you greatly if you made an outline of the points which you want to write about. You will also have to incorporate the "other side" of your argument. After you have developed your body, you must close with your conclusion, and summarize your points.

My final thesis that was handed in "Rottweilers are misunderstood from the media placing a negative stereotype to the breed."

Our Instructor wanted all research cited. He did not tell us how to cite the work. All he told us was to pick a side on a argumentative topic. Make sure you can prove your side. Report to be a 2 page with double space lines.

We have a library workbook that must be completed on our own time. The library will grade it. If the workbook is not completed by Feb 25th, you fail the English class. The Instructor has no control over it. The workbook teaches you how to locate information in the library. It also teaches you the MLA format.

I used the MLA format for citing my sources.

LOL! I still didn't get it back. I handed in my second report on Tuesday. A 4 page report. I am starting to wonder if he even looks at them. If and when I do get it back, I will let you know.
