yet another exercise question I took Sara (now 14 weeks and getting huge! ) for a walk around our apartment complex today. It is about a mile. It took us about 40 minutes. We walked for a while, then spent time smelling the roses and everything else, walked some more, etc. Is this too much for her? She seemed to love it, and we didn't walk fast, but I don't want to over do it.

I believe that kind of a walk/stroll is perfectly fine and do that with my pups. Do not do one of those power-walking things with a little pup, but a leisurely stroll with visiting and social stops are great opportunities to learn about the world and make new friends.

I wouldn't walk a puppy that age for more than 30 minutes following the pup's own pace.
