insurance (again)

Just wondering what liability insurance company those in california use? State Farm won't insure me in the mountains due to fire risk.

Re: insurance (again)

We also have Safeco up here in ID. But we used them as well when we lived in CA and just transferred our agencies up to ID when we moved. However, we were in So Cal, and not in the mountains so I'm not sure on the mountain coverage.

Re: insurance (again)

Were they "No way" because of Rotties or you live in the mountains?

Re: insurance (again)

Have you tried Nationwide? Oh, you might want to try different offices. I called three Nationwide offices and only two told me they would cover our home with a rottie. One quote was two hundred dollars less. Try different offices within the same branch of insurance. Different agents will tell you different things!
