| Inside toys/Outside toys? Does your dog have certain toys he/she will only play with inside or vice versa? Gunner will only play with Cuz balls inside and his Squeeky tennis ball inside-take them outside and they might as well be a pile of dog doodi!! Just wondering if other people's dogs do this as well, and if so with what toys?

| Re: Inside toys/Outside toys? Boy, some are certainly quirky aren't they? LOL, my guy will play with anything, anywhere including underwear he drags outside in the yard!

| Mine try to sneak their outside toys into the house. Every once in awhile...the Jolly Ball- on- a- Rope get's in, or the Kong- on- a- Rope...And they start swinging and throwing them around in the house. I don't let them take any inside toys outside...because I'm sure we would never see them again. We have a huge property...and it does not take long for something smaller to get lost. Baxter LOVES to steal any toy that he can from the boarding dogs. I have the same toys in the dog yard as I do for our own dogs...but Baxter is determined to take them ALL...and bring them into the house. Gina

| Re: Inside toys/Outside toys? Yeah, my guy can be a real charmer trish603a, you should've seen when he literally pulled my sweatpants down by the seat of my pants in the middle of the yard. We live on a corner and DON'T have a privacy fence! Yeah, a real hoot that was!

| Re: Inside toys/Outside toys? Gee Moz, Not that this is a competition but I can "top" that story. We summered in Spring Lake....picture snooty standoffish next door neighbors, their barbecue with a juicy steak, my big dog with their steak in her mouth, I go out to retrieve the steak and somehow the dog pulls down my TOP. Strangely, these people became quite friendly after that.... Dog lovers I suppose....

| Re: Inside toys/Outside toys? One of Oskar's FAVOURITE outside doors is an empty 2l coke bottle with the lid on. It's slippery and he chases it around like a mad dog. eventually he'll puncture it and the air will come out which enables him to grab hold of it, but its a great, cheap, recycleable toy :) |

| Re: Inside toys/Outside toys? we also do the 2l bottle, but we fill it with water and stick it in the freezer for a while before we go out. both of our dogs love it in the summer because it is nice and cold. and they can lick the water as it melts out. |

| Re: Inside toys/Outside toys? Well, it's not so much the "dogs" who chose or don't choose their outdoor toys. That would be me. Outdoor toys are those large solid Jolly Balls with a rope passing thru the middle, or a big strapped soccer ball, a big regulation football or a (non-steel belted type) tire. These items can safely be left in the yard , for one, and would cause mass destruction inside! Their agility equipment is outside for practice. On a cold winters day something may come in, but just for practice. Outside, they've been know to rearrange a few logs from the woodpile, and have a few tug ropes and of course the swimming pool in summer. House toys are totally different! Bungee snakes, a spikey ball, a small (light weight) football, some stuffies, and tugs...basically things that won't knock the house down around my ears if played with fervently.

| Re: Inside toys/Outside toys? I agree our outside toys definately would cause MASS destruction if brought inside-that is why they stay outside-SAYS ME ha ha. I remember the first day we came back from the store with the Giant hard plastic Push n'Play ball-it was not very long before we knew it would be an outside only toy. (after it crashed in to furniture several times with Gunner trailing after it) I just know Gunner gets a blast out of his Cuz and other squeaky balls (smaller ones) so I try to take them outside and see if I can chuck them around so he'll have more room to zoom. He totally losees interest in them as if it has morphed into some foriegn object and he wont touch it! He looks at me like I am out of my mind when I throw it. Sigh. Moz, do you have Gunner's Doppelganger? He has also pulled down my pants in the middle of my yard (wich you can see from the road) and has a fetish for my underwear!

| Re: Inside toys/Outside toys? Oh Oh, have Gunner and Buddy been talking?! I live in New York City and two very busy streets meet at my corner, full view of my yard and my butt that day! YIKES! Hmmmm, maybe that's why they put a stop sign there!!!

| Re: Inside toys/Outside toys? LOL lovemypuppies. I really need a privacy fence put up so Buddy doesn't embarrass me anymore! Good thing the neighbors pay no attention to the antics going on at my house. They still allow their kids to come over so I guess it's a good sign.

| Re: Inside toys/Outside toys? Outside toys: tennis balls, plastic soda bottles, small dogs. Inside toys: remote controls, gold cigarette lighters, cell phones, NEW magazines (Architectural Digest preferred) eyeglasses, and lace bras. And Moz: as a woman who has picked up approximately 10,000 bags of poop on Fifth Avenue I no longer embarrass as easily as i once did. But they keep trying.
