I hope everything turns out ok,

BUT

Give your dog a hug and get a crate for the back of the truck if he can't ride inside

My husband and I enjoy taking our dogs for rides; however, we bought a crew cab truck so they can ride INSIDE. My friends dog had to have his back right leg amputated because of an accident like this. You are lucky. Please no more riding on the back!!!
