Re: Puppy Mill Video.......

The Store on route 17 I've seen for years.
I know about the place in Toms River.

There is a very scary story about a store in the mall up here.
The company plans to franchise like Starbucks!

Hackensack, NJ - Rufus Inc pleaded guilty in Bergen County Municipal Court to animal cruelty charges and agreed to pay $9,800.00, the largest fine ever collected by the Bergen County SPCA. Based in Edison, New Jersey, Rufus (formerly Woof & Company), has been the subject of ongoing controversy since it announced plans last year to open hundreds of stores in “upscale” malls across the nation. Rufus buys its puppies from the Missouri-based Hunte Corporation, the nation’s largest puppy mill broker. Hunte deals in thousands of puppies every week, buying dogs from commercial kennels (puppy mills) and trucking them to pet shops across the country.

Re: Puppy Mill Video.......

Frustrated, angry, tearful, sickened so many feelings at such neglect and barbarity. The worst thing is the monsters responsible are so called human beings! Thank you for sharing this and highlighting situations too many people ignore.

Re: Puppy Mill Video.......

It just amazes me how some people do not have a care in the world for these animals.

Thank God for people like my Uncle who foster dogs (Labs & Rotts) once their time is up in the pound. To this date my uncle has adopted out / saved from being put to sleep, 62 dogs.

Re: Puppy Mill Video.......

That was really upsetting. Totally makes me want to stand up and do something, but what?? We can all start by educating people. What else??

Re: Puppy Mill Video.......

OMG.... how absolutely awful !! I am going to e'mail this link to all of my friends and colleages... if things like the proposed 'pilot' of vehicle tracking and road pricing policy in the UK can generate over a million and a half names on a petition in a very short time, surely some people that see this will at least stop and think, and hopefully pass it on and discuss it with others... education is the ONLY way!!

Re: Puppy Mill Video.......

This video really bought me to tears - how people can use an animal and allow them to suffer for profit is beyond my comprehension. Although i cannot have my bitch spayed as the anesthetic could be very dangerous due to her kidney problems (i am very careful when she is in season) i believe all pets should be spayed and neutred. there is no excuse, cost is not an excuse as here in the uk it can be dsone for free with the pdsa, after seeing this video i think more people will see this

Re: Puppy Mill Video.......

Tell me again why puppy mills and brokers are legal?

I don't / wont spend a dime at a store that sells animals.

My brother-in-law used to breed Am/Staffs. He found out that several of his buyers were fight them. He stopped breeding from that point on. An altercation with one of those buyers almost got him a long vacation at a state supported resort in Joliet, Il.
