| Yes I agree. It would be a lot easyer. Once I read a version of the standard which says that some rottweilers are born without tails or with short tails known as "Bob tails". That was in the book "The World of the Rottweiler" of Anna Catherine Nicholas. I was also wondering about this subject to. Thanks for bringing it up. |

| I don't know if this counts, but I have a 3/4 Rottie, 1/4 Aussie Shepherd (he looks like a Rottie with a long coat) with no tail. He was the only one in the litter without one. He just has the tiniest nub where his tail should be. |

| Some are born without it and some with a very short one which does not need docking. I think there must be very few though. Any way. We will know since from year 2000 no docking will take place in all FCI countries + ADRK. |
