| Rossi on Emergency Vets Yes, Rossi's show dealing with the cancer and saddness will be on TV. It will be televised 12/10/99 at 8pm mtn time. It is on Animal Planet's Emergency Vets. I know some of you wonderful folks were wanting this information. We will tape the show. I am not sure, we are ready just yet. If anyone wants to read this thread, I'll explain how to see it. Go to 'visit one of our archives' at the bottom of the page. It is in Vets Corner on page 5 titled "Unknown Illness at this Time". We miss him a whole bunch. Most of you know how we feel. I very much appreciated everyone's compassion towards our loss. I thought I would give a little background on Rossi. His AKC name is Hannarich's Von Rossignol born 11/4/89 from Hannerich's Kennels in KC. He was the pick of the litter. Wade did not want to be involved in the show circut and that was hard for the breeders to give him away to a nonshow family. They were crying when they finally agreed to let 'Blue" go home with Wade. Blue was Rossi's litter name. Rossi's littermates did go on to show. He was so even tempered. He just wasn't any ole dog. It is hard to explain but, he was different. We received flowers, cards, money, plants when he past away,as if he were a person. I could go on and on about how he was such a great companion, huge vocabulary, and soothing snorer. HaHa I hope you get a chance to meet him on TV. Sirena, Here's a direct link to the thread to make it easier for members to get there http://www.rottweiler.net/rottie/Arc...-5-000153.html Von [This message has been edited by Von (edited December 10, 1999).] |

| Oh, Sirena, how hard that must have been for you and Wade. I taped the show and couldn't sleep about 1:30 this morning. I got up and watched it, and I can't tell you how I felt. I thought they handled your and Wade's feelings with great compassion and concern. I feel a little better knowing that my Gisela has a friend like Rossi with her now. How are you two doing now? While the pain never goes away, it does get better. God Bless you both, Sirena- Val & Clyde |
