CarolineS thanks for the reply. However i think no one could ever stir me away from this great breed i love so much! I know you guys feel strongly about your opinions but i was just looking for some advice i didn't know i was gonna get my head chopped off! Even my wife felt i was being attacked for things i didn't even say. I guess it's just some kind of initiation for being a novice, just remember all professional breeders, handlers, show, working ect.. had to start somewhere and they probably had lots of help. So did i pass the initiation If anyone else know's of any upcoming events in Colorado Springs, Denver, or anywhere close to these locations please let me know!! That also goes for trainers, sh, conformation, breeders, clubs ect... So i ask you guy's can't we all just get along??

Tony,

I had to laugh when I read your reply. I remember one of the first things I said very innocently on this board, was to advise someone to look at conformation show lines as opposed to SchH if they were looking just for a pet. Boy, did I get straightened out in a hurry!!!! You said you got your head chopped off, I believe I termed it trying to dig my self out of the hole I'd just buried myself in! Got to say, once I accomplished that, I was hooked. I really look forward to checking in here every day and discussing Rotties ad infinitum. That's the one thing we all have in common, our love for our breed. Welcome aboard

Alison,
I will speak up my mind regarding Rottweilers without any concern, whatsoever, for your personal approval. You know what you know, and you are entitled to your PERSONAL OPINION, and so am I. Let people take decisions for themselves instead of trying to convince them that you really know what you are talking about and I don't.

Well its been a long time since I"ve been on the discussion forum but I see things haven't changed much. Alison and German are still very much in love...BTW German don`t let the name Alison fool ya...Its a guy!

Alison put words into German's mouth once more. German stated Working rottie with minor faults and Alison interpreted that as saying

"IF A DOG HAS FALTS THAT DISQUALLIFY IT FROM CONFERMATION SHOWS ,ITS NOT BREEDABLE
THAT IS A MAJOR FALT NOT A MINER FALT .EVERY DOG HAS FALTS, AND THE DOG WILL FALE THE ZTP
WITH OUT GOING INTO THE RING"

Now I believe that minor faults do not translate to disqualifying faults. Disqualifying faults translate to serious faults.

Not bashing you Alison just setting the record staight before you take us down into one of those holes you tend to dig!

BTW I have just decided on the Dog I will breed to this summer...

V1 - Janko Vom Herrenholz SchHIII, IPOIII, BH , AD, ZTP Gekort. SCHIII score 97 98 98A. Imagine that V1 rated and strong schutzhund scores..... Alison can you tell me what the A stands for after the 98?....get your book out.

Looking forward to catching up on the posts I've missed. I'M BACK.

Lesson "1" of "Netiquette"

1. Never forget that the person on the other side is a human being.

Even though you are using a computer to communicate don't forget that other
people are on the receiving end. Thousands of people all over the world are reading your words(3.876 hits to the forums last week alone). Do not engage in personal attacks.
Don't speak (type) hastily -- do not to say anything to others that you would not say to them in a room full of people. Remember that you are playing an important role in
building an online community -- and we all want this community to be a good, friendly place.

As every basic concept of the above statement has been "bastardizied" it is time to close this thread and move on.
