| I think the rule of thumb is a crate that is just big enough for them to stand up and turn around in. That way they have enough room to be comfortable but not so much they they can make messes in one part and sleep in the other. |

| Average sized rottie ~80 should have an XL sized Vari-kennel type kennel, or a 42" X 36" X 28" size wire kennel. If your dog is larger, then go larger. Bring the dog to a pet store.. It is NEVER too late to crate train a dog. We do it with all of the rescue dogs that come into the program. |
