Post Your Doggy Goals For 2006

Hi all,

I thought it would be fun to post all of our doggy goals for 2006. Then, at the end of the year - we could revisit and see what we accomplished!

Parker and I hope to:

Am CD
Am RN
Can CDX
Am CDX
Can TD

Maybe some more Rally stuff, and possibly some Agility as well. There's been talks of a BH, but I'm not sure.

RAE (Rally advanced excellent) This requires 10 trials where she qualifies in BOTH advanced AND excellent

AD (endurance test)

TD (tracking dog test)

Annie

CGC (canine good citizen)

RN (rally novice)

and if we are very blessed with a sane pup instead of the independant monster that "could be"

I would like to finish up Raelins agility training, and do a few competitions at the end of the year.

Not very lofty goals I know, but I just want to be a good 'dad', and have lots of fun doing stuff like camping, and such!

I'll be brave and put my goals for Elsa, and myself out in print.

Continue with obedience classes, at least 2 this year.
CGC
Begin classes in agility. I really want to compete w/her.

So that's about all. I know they arent too large of goals, but I'm happy to accomplish anything w/her.

I want to accomplish basic OB, he seems to have forgotten everything since the accident. And troublesome Teenage phase. In the summer go for the CGN, and maybe TDI

Rocco - CDX. Would have had 3 legs in 3 trials already if he just would have held the stays!

Skye - CGC, start agility.

Me - become a better doggy trainer.

This year I would like to introduce Bear to Flyball, and Agility.

I'd also like to obtain his CGC and begin hospital visitation with the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program.

Guerin, Phil would like to finish his CDX and MAYBE trial for his UD at least get him ready to trial.
Bronn, get him going in conformation, and trial for his CD.Get him going in Rally.

Here are mine as posted to the other group at the first of the year. I now have to revise a few...


Iza - Am Ch, Am/Can CDX, RN, RA (my goals)... Can TDX, SchH3 and maybe ABST (Mike's goals)...Yes, it's Iza's year!
Note, got the RN, RA and another major last week, so I might add some UKC titles to our list since Mike won't let me do his goals

Envy - RE
Ack, got this one too and Envy still wants something to do...maybe Tracking ?

Beca - RN, RA, RE

Nova - Am/Can TD in Fall, start agility training asap...I HATE that Iza doesn't even know the obstacles...

Yngo (streettccchhh goals) - UD and TDX...or two of each ...these are goals I delegated to Mike (Insert evil laugh here)

Tressy (13 yrs 9 mos), Rosie (12 yrs 3 mos) & Gambol (10 yrs 4 mos)...keep them in good health and remember to show them every day how happy we are to have them around!

The biggest problem I'm having is losing so much time for training. I've GOT to find a damn sitter.

if the planets align just right an AD, NA, NAJ, JHD, and maybe even a TD as well

Roca - realistically...RA, STDsc, NAP, NAJ (and a healthy litter of puppies)
if the planets align just right we'd like to also work toward an AD, OAP, OJP, HSCs, and CDX

Arnie - realistically...RE, OTDd, HXAd, HIAs, CDX
if the planets align just right ATDsd, STDc, NA, NAJ, HSBd, HXAs (and maybe even a few HC points)

Elsa - spend more time taking her swimming, hiking, and just plain enjoying her company, and maybe enter a few AHBA ranch trials for HTCh points if the conditions are just right

Continue Ob. classes with the hope of maybe a CD leg this year.

I'm shooting for a CD and a TDI for Sam the Man this year. Everyone at training is pretty certain we'll get the CD done this year.
