Gosh, with a mix, one can never really know in the early days, what and how the characteristics will express themselves. I would basically suggest that you do your best to raise a good pup just keeping in mind that you will see variables of the two breeds. I imagine he is a handsome boy.

I was watching that "Top ten dog show" ...(the one with TrishB and Parker in it)...anyways....they were interviewing Dr. Stanley Coren and he said that dogs will almost always take on the traits of the breed it most resembles.

I wonder if that's really scientific fact or merely our perception of what the dog should act like? Interesting, none the less.

I can debunk that statement and prove it all in the same breath..

Happy is a rottie something mix, he looks more of a rottweiler and his personality is very rottweiler.

Brazen is a black lab mixed with your guess is as good as mine. She looks like a thinner lab..but mostly lab..Her personality is very labby.

Brando is a coonie/shepherd mix, he looks more houndy..but does tend to lean more towards the shepherd side personality wise.
