| Wondering what retired show dogs do for fun??? Last night, Yngo and Dylan hung out with Michael Douglas, Kiefer Sutherland, Kim Basinger and Eva Longoria! Ok, not really, but they tried. We arrived last night on the set of their upcoming movie, the Sentinal. We had no idea what the movie was about going in. All they told us was that they needed a dog who would chase and bark, and possibly bite. We took Yngo, with Dylan as a non-biting backup . I always tell Mike that although I'm fully aware that movies will always portray our breed as the one that is chasing and biting, however, I'd much rather know that Yngo would be biting a bad guy, rather than being some drug dealer's dog biting an officer for instance. He kept teasing me that we were going to get there and find out the movie was titled "Biker Babes on Crack". Ugh. The moment we arrived, I marched straight up to "the guy who appears to be in charge" to ask him what the movie was about. Apparently it's a spy/double cross type thriller starring Michael Douglas. So, I ask him who Yngo will be meanacing/possibly biting and he says "I think it's Michael", as Michael Douglas walks out of the house. ! We discussed a stunt double at that point <g> We ended up arriving at 8pm and finally leaving at 4am (plus the two hour drive each way). We got to watch a fair bit of shooting, and socialize a bit when lightning came and held things up considerably (a lot of big lights on towers are necessary for shooting a daytime scene at 1 am!). Eventually, they decided that they could leave out the dogs in the name of getting the rest completed. Probably not a bad thing, considering that we don't really need to see any more meanacing Rottweilers in the movies. Yngo and Dylan were assured that their chance at a major motion picture would eventually come (after experiencing the "big time", they've both decided that commercials and kids shows are simply not enough..). Maybe we could find them a nice comedy...

| WooHoo! Not a bad way to spend an evening Ann! The stars were definately OUT last night! I would have gone to see that move JUST to see Yngo in action. I have one suggestion though - don't tell either of the boys that they're 'retired'. hehe

| They could redo "The Increadable Journey" and use Yngo and Dylan!!! They will have to start working on their "acceptance speech" for the Oscars now!!!

| very good side jobs! hailey and kelly have done a few. kelly did some european sausage commercial, where she had to run behind someone and vise versa with sausage links in her mouth. kelly and hailey did a spanish soap opera scene-who let the dogs out!-where they had to run thru a party after the maid accidentally lets them out. and hailey did a junk yard scene barking(what she does best!)for some miss k video. cool side jobs! so did your guys star? if so, we do have to see that movie! they don't retire....they just pursue other venues!
