Toys for my boy....

Think theres any harmful chemicals in Skateboard Wheels?, he ignores most other toys, but loves the wheels, and hockey pucks.

1.5 yr. male

Thanks,
Chris.

Our Hunter has this somewhat hilarious fascination w/ full size car/truck tires (thankfully, they're not on someone's vehicle). If you stand it up, he puts his font paws on it and tries rolling it backwards. When it falls down, that's when he goes ballistic -- barking, whining, drooling, etc.

It's adorable to watch but impossible to pull him away or even get his attention.

Since these items are not manufactured to be chew toys, I would be afraid that the dog would swallow them or chew pieces off and swallow the pieces. This could cause choking and/or damage to his digestive tract and could even cause an intestinal obstrucion, which is life-threatening. Keep looking. There are many hard rubber toys designed specifically for dogs which are much less likely to cause harm. Many times you can put some peanut butter or squeeze cheese into the inside of a rubber toy to make it more interesting.

I wouldn't chance anything that was not made for chews and even then you have to be careful for the choking hazzard. There are many post here this week about great chews.
