| Re: Dog Licenses: Unofficial Poll My dog is almost licensed The red tape over here is a right pain. To own a rotty i have to ........ 1,Undergo evaluation from a doctor to see if i am mentally stable. 2,Get dog insurance.(double for rottys where i live) 3,Get about 4 more important bits of paper. 4, The usual chip installed. 5,Show i have not got a criminal past of a violent nature.(police check). 6,Get all jabs upto date. Only then do i get a 1 year permit to own a rotty from the local council which has to be renewed each year. I am waiting till my pooch is 1 year old then i am going to get moving on all the above but ATM lets just say "its in the post". |

| Re: Dog Licenses: Unofficial Poll My dogs are licensed it's only $10.00 where I live. The Animal Control Officer seems to be at my neighbors constantly and I have always been afraid of them stopping by here to see if our dogs were licensed (though they never have). |
