Average weight range for an 8-week old pup.

I'll be picking up my new pup in about 3 weeks. He'll be 8 weeks old then. What is the average good weight range for an 8-week old male pup? The parents are towards the upper size range of the standard. Thanks in advance.

In 20 years in this breed, my pups have average 12-16 lbs at 8 weeks

Several have been smaller, a few have been larger but as long as the pup is not a round piglet nor a skinny rail that youcan visually count all his ribs on, then he should be fine :)

I believe my pup was 10.8 lbs at 7 1/2 weeks.

Sajan weighed 6.5 pounds when I brought him home at 6 weeks of age. I don't remember what he weighed at 8 weeks. Mora(not a male) weighed 13.5 pounds when she arrived at 8 weeks of age.

When Toby was 7.5 weeks old he weighed 11.5 pounds.

Cooper was right at 10lbs at 8 weeks. His parents were also on the large end of the standard.
He just turned four and is a very solid 95lbs, no fat, heavy bone.
His litter-sister weighed a pound or so less than him, and is a big, fit girl at 85lbs (a friend has her.)

Xcel was 15.5lbs, Froli was 18lbs, Devon was 8.5lbs (she was a fine boned bitch who was barely in standard at 2). Banja's weight is written down here somewhere.....

Deuce was 10lbs 8 weeks, 85lbs adult, fine boned small male. Jag was 18lbs 8wks, 125lbs adult, large boned male. Tux was 13-14lbs at 8 wks, 110lbs adult, shorter substantial well boned male. Had a bitch 16lbs 8 weeks, just under 90-95lbs adult, very tall, medium bone.
