Re: tounges

Mine does and so does his brother. Ours are very small just towards the rear of the tongue. For the longest time I thought it was a chunk of hair stuck there. He is from a championship line, so I assume that it can be fine in a line (I don't do conformation with Bastian, but his brother does).

Re: tongues

My boy Blaise has a black spot towards the rear of his tongue as well. It looks like he sucked on a pen and it leaked :) He's the only of our 3 rottweilers that have it...

Re: tongues

Raelin has a black mark on her tongue as well, near the back and about the size of a dime. The roof of her mouth is also black, with small bits of pink near the edges of her lips/jowles.

Don't ask me how I know so much about the inside of my pups mouth!!!

Well most of the mouth should be black (roof, lips, flews, and gums)or more black than not. Sometimes you see pink on the gums, like they have a wad of bubble gum in there. Hence the term "bubble gums." The less pink, the better.
