ugh dh saw this at the gym yesterday

There's a photo of mom and dad on the flyer..(dh brought it home to show me) and they are SUPER SUPER LARGE! I have never seen such gigantic rottweilers. These poor things probably have health problems out the wazoo.

I can almost guarantee I'll be getting a call from my local shelter in 2 months asking me if I have room to foster a rottie (i'm on the foster list for rottie pups w/ them). A few months back there was a 'free rottie pups to good home' ad in the paper. I called the shelter and told them if you get any rottie pups in call me..sure enough at least 3 showed up in the next month, I can almost bet you it's from that free ad. Unfortunatly 2 of the 3 had parvo and died at the shelter. The 3rd was adopted.

What is wrong with these people? I'd like to whop them all over there head..there's currently over 400 rottie/rottie mix pups listed on petfinder!

Sometimes it's just too aggravating to think about. This type of thing links in with so many threads on this forum that it's just ridiculous.

In my local paper that advertises, there was two rott ads this week. One looked pretty reputable, although sad, 2 yrs old, trained,UTD on vaccinations etc..no reason for sale though.
The other one said '' Rockwiler Pup for sale'' ..Some people
You are doing a great thing being on the foster list!! I wish i could, but we all fall over each other as it is!

That's where it is now...

DH gets as disgusted as I do w/ those things....but he couldn't get over the size of these dogs so he had to bring it home to show me.

I was watching Animal Cops Miami on Thur night and they were taking two Rotties. As they were trying to get the dogs the narrator said: Rottweilers can weigh an average of 120 lbs. Where did that man get that kind of information. This type of information does not help.
I also know of an ad in a dog magazine for giant Rotties and a seperate one for Dobies as well as one for GSDs by the same breeder. Also not a help. I am wondering what kind of demand they have for these giant dogs.
