| Appropriate amount of Exercise Okay here I go asking more questions, I did a search on the boards for "exercise" but most found things for puppies or training. Loki is 4 and I know every dog is different but what is a standard amount of exercise for a dog of his age? I want to make sure that I don't over/under do it for him. Right now we go outside 4-5 times a day. In the morning we take a walk around the park so he can potty, stretch and check things out a bit. Then in the late morning or early afternoon we go for a 30-60 minute walk. Then in the evening we go for a shorter 20-40 minute walk or a good play in the park. Then I take him out for a quick potty walk before bed and sometimes we get another small walk in there somewhere if we are both feeling bored. |

| Re: Appropriate amount of Exercise Oh thanks that was great, I wonder why it didn't come up when I searched "exercise" in the forums. Or maybe I really need more sleep today? ;) hehehe |
