Does standing vs sitting make a difference? My first thought is the height would be the same either way.

Re: Height

Measuring is correctly done while standing, floor/ground to top of whithers. There are 7 cervical neck vertibrae, followed by a small area back of the shoulder with 8 (sm) dorsal vertibrae. This is the whithers. Followed by back (5 dorsal vertibrae), loin (7 lumbar vertibrae), croup (3 sacral vertibrae) and tail.

Sitting, it would seem to me, would place an angle on the area to be measured. Like leaning back slightly?

Re: Height

Thanks everyone! If I can get him to be still I'll be able to measure him.
