Brooke where did you get your crate at? Paxil has seemed to have out grown his but he still gets in it without a problem but he does not have much room after he lays down (I mean very very little room). Also if you can remember how much did you pay for it? Mine was given to me so I kinda need to know where the bests ones are at and how much they will run. Thank you very much.

dolphin~
the crate i have for Georgia (100# female) is 29.5"Wx32"Hx48"D and she fits nicely inside with lots of room to change position... i can even fit inside with her to take a nap! :D
The manufacturer is Precision Pet Products, the model is the "Great Crate" and they have a web site: precisionpet dot com. I think I paid $120 for the crate at the feed store it's a collapsable steel crate with a black finish. It's kinda heavy but doesn't look as tacky in my living room as the plastic ones. Hope this helps!

We purchased ours for about $70 through www.upco.com. It's not the best crate out there but the price was right & Julius isn't an escape artist so it serves it's purpose.

Re: Source for Crate?

Try Jeffers Pet Supply. They make their own line and some are very reasonable. www.jefferspet.com

My crate isn't that large, but I ordered it from upco! I can't remember how much you have to spend, but after a certain $$$ amount shipping is free, which I didn't find with any of the other companies. Shipping at most of the other places was pretty expensive.

Right, which is part of the reason that we purchased the crate from UPCO. After $70 or so the shipping is free. It's a nice perk & they have speedy delivery.

Re: Source for Crate?

Thank you everyone for all your help I'm going to go with the X-large one thats 26"W x 42"L x 30"H its only $112.20 It just the General Cage Folding Cage. Do you all think that it will be a good one. I have never had to buy one mine was given to me. I just want to make sure that the one I buy will not hurt him or do something even worse.
