Brutus...getting bigger!

We've had Brutus now since the beginning of May. He has grown to almost twice the size (weight wise). Wife took him to bank today (she is the manager) and he went to Vet to get his next battery of shots. Plus, he got a pill to take for worms. He looks like a little bear with the black and tan markings.
He is pretty good about potty training. Although, he will still mess in house when you aint watching him. He still doesn't like the crate that much but he doesn't whine and cry like he used to. Thunder and lightening don't bother him like it does with our other 2 dogs and, he knows not to screw with the cat as she whapped him on the head a couple of weeks ago. Brutus and our other
dog will chase each other and run around the house. Hilarious in that they crash into each other. Brutus also knows not to mess around near the other dog's bowls in that they growled at him. He stays clear when they are eating.
We've been saying NO in a loud voice when he growls (sometimes when he is picked up or pulling something out of his mouth). I also will stir his food in the bowl while he is eating and we always check his teeth and paws to get him used to it. The Vet told us to socialize him as much as possible (he gets that daily on the farm here). Hmm....maybe the Vet reads this board!

Sounds like you're having fun with the "little" guy. They grow SO fast. I now look back at pictures of Julius from when he was 9 weeks old & wonder where the time went. Take MANY, MANY pictures!!!
