| While On The Topic Of Boarding Kennels... I am curious to know how much you spend per day on your dogs in a boarding kennel? I am paying $27 per day, and the room is 6 x 6. They have play times and dog walking, but I opt against dog walking for a few reasons. Weekend rates go up to $30. So, I'm just curious, what does your boarding kennel charge you?

| Re: While On The Topic Of Boarding Kennels... Although we have not boarded Julius yet, if & when we do we will board him with a good friend of ours who owns a Boarding Kennel. We could choose from either: Standard Kennels: Your pet's indoor area is heated and air conditioned with constant access to a 10 foot long outer patio area. Pets in these areas will be allowed private playtime outdoors approximately 3 times a day in our large fenced play yards. We provide guests platform beds covered with a low-lying carpet or you are always welcome to bring bedding from home. For: $15 a day OR.... Luxury Suites: Your pet is offered a 6 foot by 8 foot room with constant access during the day to a 6 foot by 15 foot personal outside play yard. We also have select luxury suites which are 6 foot by 11 foot for larger or multi-dog families. For: $20 a day -------------- Knowing us, we'll opt for the Luxury Suites. I like the idea of him being in a room instead of a kennel. I would rather pay the extra five dollars for that.... :) Brooke

| Re: While On The Topic Of Boarding Kennels... my in-laws pay $12/day for boarding their yorkie. the kennel feeds bil jac and if you want them to feed the food YOU bring, it's extra. the place is pretty nice, although i've never seen it. my in-laws wouldn't take their dog "just anywhere" so i'm sure it is.
