| Thanks to all/Biggie's website This was going off-topic from "How to prove ownership" so I thought I'd post it as a new thread. I now feel confident in my ownership of Goose. I have the letter, signed and notarized from his parents, who are executioners of his will. Thanks folks for enjoying Biggie's website. I should mention, as if it isn't bitterweet enough, that my then 5 year-old daughter covered biggie with her Pooh blanket in his final photo, already gone. She said to me, "Mommy, I don't want him to be cold going to Heaven". It was important to me that she be there went he was put down; it was done in my living room. I believe that when you tell a child that you put a pet "to sleep" it can be scary to them and they conjure up all sorts of 5 year-old ideas. Being there, I was able to explain to her what was happening. It was terribly emotional in the most painful ways, but you know that certain "feeling" you get when you know you're doing something selfless. Sort of like with Goose today. What a charmer he is...... Yes, I was a member here well over a year ago with a Rottie named Hudson. I co-owned him with another woman who got him involved in agility. After about 6 months and seeing her involvement with Hudson and his training, I decided to let him go live with her full-time. He's in the same town still and winning agility trials. A Rottweiler winning in agility - imagine that! (The Border Collies must have been out sick that day). Thanks for all the nice comments. If anyone knows how to make my URL below an active link, I'd love to know, to make it easier for folks to see Biggie's page. No, it's definitely not something you read through after a Martini or you're sunk. I get to the end and it's Goodnight Irene, even after all this time.

| Re: Thanks to all/Biggie's website Allyson-- When you click on "edit signature" there should be a box pop up like the other boxes you have written your replies in. You should see right below the box "color" that there is a little icon of a globe. Click on that. You should be able to enter a hyperlink in that way. Hope that helps. :) Brooke

| Re: Thanks to all/Biggie's website I thought he was passed away in his last picture. It made me cry so much, but he was sp peaceful looking. I am gglad you were able to have your daughter there and she did something so heartfelt like she did. That brings tears to my eyes. That must have been such a sad day. When we let my old boy Damian go, I brought his baby blanket and favorite toys. I wanted him to know he was taking them with him. I am very glad you now have Goose. My boy died over two years ago now, and only now have I brought a new boy in. My boy Brodie was dumped and almost starved to death when I found him at the pound on death row. He has been here two months now and is so happy and gracious. He is very charming too... Glad to see you are here.

| Re: Thanks to all/Biggie's website I think it is excellent for people to be able to go to a code-of-ethics breeder and purchase the dog of their choice, as I myself have done. But to be able to save a dog is something really special. So glad you were able to save your boy as well! I've posted a link to pictures of Goose under "The Bathtub Diaries". Enjoy! :)

| Re: Thanks to all/Biggie's website I too loved your tribute to Biggie. I really enjoyed the pictures and the story of his life. I have to admit that like many others when it came to the last picture I shed quite a few tears. It was heartbreaking to see him like that but yet at the same time it was comforting. There is absolutely nothing harder than losing a loved one whether they have two legs or four. It has always helped me to be able to talk about it to others who understand and have gone thru a similar experience. Thank you for sharing your story and pictures of your wonderful boy.

| Re: Thanks to all/Biggie's website I, too, cried for Biggie, what a special tribute to a wonderful example of this breed. I lost my first rottie after 8 years to a horrible disease that took my precious Luca in 6 weeks :( . Your post brought back so many of the wonderful memories of my boy, some of your pics could have been of him. I have another spoiled rotten rottie that's now 16 mos old, Butkus, that makes me laugh and marvel at his intelligence each and every day, but I'll never forget my first. Lisa |

| Re: Thanks to all/Biggie's website Thanks again to all the really nice replies to Biggie's website. I actually built that as a final project in an HTML class I was taking, and got an "A" on the project. Even my professor cried. I pay the monthly Angelfire fee to keep it up and can't ever see taking it down. I know every single one of us on this forum LOVE our Rotties, or we wouldn't be here, but Biggie really was "different". I think that's displayed in so many of the pictures. He's never more than a thought away, and we know how deeply we attach to these beasts; but the loss is worth the life......
