behaviorist advice

I'm wondering how you find a reliable behaviorist in your area who knows anything abour rotties? i live in cincinnati OH and dont have contact with any clubs/other owners in my area. Any help you have- ive been looking for a respected trainer and looking for a behaviorist for a while now but i dont know where to start...?????? thanks!

You are in the Rott capital of Ohio. Please look up the Gem City & Emerald Valley Club for info. There is also a Rott group in Hamilton. I have not had the oppertunity to go down there yet, but as soon as the weather breaks, I'm off like a shot.

i live in ohio but unfortunately i'm up by cleveland so i won't be much help. on the akc website, there's a phone number and contact for the greater cincy rottweiler club. i'd try there since they are local. you could also contact emerald valley rottweiler club (you can get their info from the american rottweiler club's website www.amrottclub.org). they are in medina but that's who i called and the rescue coordinator is the one who gave me the breeder's name where i got maverick from. good luck.
