Ears

Ok now my puppies ears take turns laying the correct way .I've heard about the teething stage. Now my question is will after teething his ears both lay right? It's leki 1 week this 1 stays back then the next it's the other please any info will be great. I''ve also heard of fly away ears but it doesn't seem to be such for they take turns not sitting right then they are fine

If at some time they do appear to be correct then I would think that eventually the ears will be correct. After all is said and done it is going to come down to the genes unless the pup suffers an injury along the line.

Kodi went through stages where he ears would lay right and then the next day he would have fly away ears. At one point I tried to correct his ears to get them to lay right. Well, to this day Kodi has fly away ears.....I know they are not correct, but I love them, it gives him personality! :D He is my big goofy boy!

ears

How old is your pup??? Anyway I would not worry too much. Two weeks ago I was asking the same question as you and getting ready to tape his ears but now his ears are sitting perfect....My thoughts now are that if your pups ears are sitting right before teething starts then they should return to normal later....Most days I would massage them into place for a few minutes if he would let me. One would sit right one day and the next day it would be the other ear....They will be fine in a week or two...

Akasha's ears have been an ongoing struggle. One day they are perfect and the next they are going every which way I am starting to think she does it to get to me. Her ears will be perfect for days before a dog show. The morning of the show her ears are perfect. By the time we enter the building or show grounds she has flying nun ears Talk about frustrating!

I still love her no matter what her ears look like;)

my pup is 19 weeks old and yes Kiwi it does sound like the same as your pup. It funny because once i work on 1 massage and stuff the other does it(lol) i'm not gonna love him any less if they don't sit right . but if i can get others input and correct it than I owe it to my pup and myself to give it a try right?
