how fast?

I have a question about rate of growth. I got this girl about a week and a half ago. When I introduced her to my other dog, I noticed that they were just about the same height at the shoulder. today I looked out and they were standing shoulder to shoulder waiting to come in. She seemed much taller than he did. I couldn't believe it. so I measured, and she is a good 2" taller at the shoulder than the other dog. can they grow so fast? she is about 6 months old.

They can grow fast, but not two inches in a week. I think that maybe it was an optical illusion when you first saw them together and just didn't realize she was taller than he was at that time.

yeah

I think it's my imagination as well as an illusion. I found a picture and it shows her about an inch taller than the other dog when we got her. they don't hold still much. Her confidence is growing pretty fast too. but she is still very sweet.

how old

well, I'm not sure because I've had her just shy of 2 weeks. But the man I 'resuced' her from thinks she is about 6 months. the vet said yesterday that looks about right.
