Your right the closest I've come to a dog fight is videos of dog fights. I certainly don't want my dog, whom I'm spending a tremendous amount of time and energy, not to mention money on training to be as courteous as he is capable of, to be forced into the position of defending his life. I think I would feel much more secure with a cattle prod, but is it legal to walk around with one?

Kathleen, the best thing to do is call the police in your area and ask them! I have never heard of any laws prohibiting the use of these tools and I would thank you if you saved my dogs life because I was negligent and didn't secure my dog properly. I am glad to see you are open to different avenues!;) I commend you!Good luck in the future and the best to your boy!;)
