Ears What's happening???

Hi to you all.....Oh dear what is happening to Bunce's ears...When he was 8-9 weeks his ears sat real nice and then a few weeks after that they were all over the place...Then one morning he woke up at 15 weeks and his ears were perfect again...Phew...now one week later, shock horror!!! his ears look like a hang glider coming into land...We noticed a couple of days ago that at the back of his neck just behind his flying ears it was extremely hot, much hotter than anywhere else on him. We put it down to teething as he seems perfectly normal within himself. Has anyone else experienced this???....Now at just over 16 weeks is he simply having a hard time teething??? Given the fact that his ears have returned to perfect once can we assume they will return to sit nice again??? We don't want to start taping yet but how long before it is too late. We do not intend to show him but I am sure most of you would agree that there is nothing better than a Rotti sitting up proud with "perfect" ears....regards..

Sounds like a good time to start taping... My 17 month has a flying ear that I think she'll always have... It has become so much apart of who she is that I now love it... but I certainly wished I had taped it more when she was younger...
